Reasons why October is one of our Favorite Months

There is a famous quote we keep seeing on Pinterest that goes like this, "I am so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers." We certainly agree with this - what a lovely month - better yet - what a lovely season this is!

Pumpkin-flavored everything: Or at least almost everything ;) Whenever the season of Fall starts, especially in October though, everyone starts making or baking delicious foods and beverages. But not just food that is pumpkin inspired, your house can smell like October too. And your makeup could be very Fall inspired as well. Don’t you agree?

Depending on what State you are in, you can look outside your window and see the trees are beginning to change to beautiful colors and the air is crisp and fresh. There really is no more beautiful time of year! Covered in exciting shades of browns, yellows, reds, and oranges.

What is your favorite place to be in in the Fall? October's weather changes are some of the best transitions to observe. We get to feel the summer cooling off into a more comfortable atmosphere. Finally, it’s time to start wearing fall outfits. It always feels so good to be able to put on a favorite hoodie or a cozy cardigan, fuzzy socks or a favorite sweater. Yes - Sweater Weather!

Another thing that makes us excited for the new season is experiencing new makeup trends, especially muted makeup colors: Time again to take out your deeper, richer lip colors and beautiful shades of brown. The Zoe Report has an interesting article that said, “Fall glam is all about warm and toasty tones, deep wines, and hunter green hues.”

A recent YouGov Poll asked Americans what their favorite month of the year was. October was voted number 1 (12%). December was a very close second (11%).
